Laina Morris, best known as the face of the Overly Attached Girlfriend meme, uploaded her last video to YouTube on Wednesday.
In the video, the 28-year-old YouTube star detailed her reasons for leaving the platform, many of which were mental health-related. In particular, she discussed her experience with depression, which began shortly after her viral video took off. "I felt a lot of pressure to make up my mind career-wise," she said. "I couldn't do it confidently and it really stressed me out."
Morris was also candid about her struggle to begin taking medication, a transition she found surprisingly difficult. Now, though, she's glad she made the right decision for her. Read more...
